nec multisync 6fg bounce

i have a nec multisync 6fg that intermittently has a rapid vertical and horizontal resize issue that appears as a bounce...i dont know where to start. any suggestions?

no, it just happens at random.... it hasnt appeared for 18 hours. I am suspecting a broken or poor solder joint, but i don't know where to look.

Hi if it is a poor joint it should react to tapping of the case.
