About one month ago my monitor started to behave weird. It was shortly after I moved, but also shortly after I changed video card drivers. My video card is an ATI 9700 AIW Pro. The monitor is a Iiyama HM703UT A - Vision Master Pro 413.
Sometimes, after the monitor was in standby-mode, or was turned off, it would not come back on again.
If I turned the monitor on or moved my mouse when in standby, the led on the front turned green, indicating that the monitor should be on, but the screen stays blank.
After waiting, which could range from tens of seconds to minutes up to hours, the monitor would suddenly come back on.
This problem also occurred when the monitor was put to a new resolution or refreshrate. It seems the problem is increasing over time. I tried changing video card drivers, even going back to my old ones, but that doesn't help.
Now I connected this monitor to the VGA output of my laptop, and it still doesn't show anything, it just stays black.
I'm not quite ready to throw it away because it occasionally works fine.
What should be my next step?
