OK, new here, but I need some monitor help. I just acquired a non-functional Envision 5100e LCD monitor. When powered up I get the orange OFF LED, and pressing the power button does not turn it on. When I plugged it into my test computer, it was recoginized and the driver was installed. Knowing this, I know that at least part of the chip-set is working. Does anyone know where I can get some prints for this monitor, or what may be the underlying problem. I pulled and reinstalled the socketed IC, and checked the diodes, which read OK. I was also able to power up the CCFL backligkt, but the display is blank. I would REALLY like to get this working to replace the POWER hungry 17" I am currentally using.
