hi again people...
what is IC 401?
what does it do?
help ples my monitor is blacking out... sometimes you can only see a horizontal line in thew center of the monitor but you knw the computer is worling...
i troubleshoot the monitor... i touch the ic 401 for AOC 4vn it flickered and then the horizontal line went out... what's happening ples out der...help!!!? Thenk you... ( i suspect 401 IC be the problem but i still cant be sure..._)()

Most likely the soldering has failed. resolder all legs of IC401.

hi tenks... i have but one qeustion is IC 401 responsible for the blackout i mean does it function like that... i know there are others but is the main function of that IC if and only if that same "generic" problem occurs is that the IC 401 be the culprit? (function maybe?)

Without a circuit diagram I cannot say if the monitor manufacturer has implemented blanking on scan fail.
