Sony CPD-G500

Hoping I can get a hand on this. CRT looks overdriven. I've played with some monitors in the past that had a 'picture' adjustment on the voltage flyback transformer. The CRT looks like someone turned that up too high. Problem is, this VFT only has two adjustments on it that I can see (H & V focus). I've got the service manual. Can't find anyone locally (Colorado Springs) that can look at it. Does anyone have suggestions on where to look, or to help me track down the problem?

Thanks so much!

Hi their are loads of threads in this forum about Sony too bright.

Take a look at this link also.

But check heater voltage first these only have 4.7V heaters.

The link you sent was exactly what I needed for the brightness issue. I've got some 'ghosting' on the image and wonder if anyone has recommendations of what to adjust or where to look for resolving that. There's not a lot - the monitor is definitely useable. But that'd be great if I can tighten the image up a bit.
