Viewsonic A90 initialization problem

I have a Viewsonic A90 that takes several power cycles (twenty or more) before it powers up correctly. It has been taking longer and longer to power up, but once it does, the display image is normal. When it has been turned off overnight, the problem reoccurs the next day. It makes a fizzing / buzzing sound that lasts approximately a second or less when it has the problem. The sound is very quick when the monitor initializes properly. What should I look for first in order to troubleshoot this problem?

You did not give any chassis info Viewsonic usually begins with VCDTSxxxxxx.

This problem sounds like a capacitor in the psu has dried up.

I'm not at the monitor right now, but the manual states it is a VCDTS21430-2M. I couldn't find parts for it online. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
