Dear reader,
I have an Iiyama Vision master 510 pro (22" CRT) The last month's, a few minutes after powering on, I see a vertical flash in de middle of the screen. Sometimes up to 4 times during my session in the first quarter that my monitor is powered .
Sometime I can could hear a sound like a spark.
What should I do? It looks like a problem with the horizontal deflection. I had already removed the upper shielding an had a placed a mirror in a position of 45 degrees to have a good sight to the inner of the monitor when a flash will be happened. But there is nothing to see. I'm afraid that a high voltage capacitor caused this problem. Just I have downloaded all schematics of the monitor, but I didn't know how to find out.
Is this really a serious problem? The monitor is 5 years old, there was no dust in the inside and further the monitor in a excellent condition.
Please, could some help me?
With kind regards,

I would replace C932 this is a common problem on this chassis, it may not be your problem but you will have others if you do not replace this capacitor.
