GDM-5410 Flashing amber light

Hi my gdm-5410 has been working flawlessly since i got it. I physically moved it a couple of days ago and since then whenever i turn it on the monitor powers up fine and i get a screen, but after a number of seconds the screen goes completely black and i get an amber flashing light. The more times i try to turn the monitor on, the less time i get with an actual screen until eventually powering on goes straight to the amber flashing light.

If i then leave the monitor for a while it will work again for a couple of minutes before the same happening again.

Any idea what could be wrong here? Its the second monitor of mine to die in as many months

Cheers guys,

John C

On further inspection it looks as if when left for a while i get a screen for (pretty precisely) 20 seconds before the whole thing goes blank and flashing amber LED. Dunno if this helps diagnose the problem but i thought i would add it.

Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give me. I am without a monitor at the moment! lol

Cheers,

John

Check C684 & C685 on the power supply board by replacement.
