Hi.
Currently trying to fix a notebook lcd that has an additional white horizontal line on the lower part of the LCD screen.

The LCD works perfectly otherwise, it's just this line.
Anybody know what I should look for when tracing this fault?
Is it fixable or is it in the actuall LCD ?

Cheers

Hi again.
The LCD is Thoshiba made and the controller card that is located on the back of the LCD has these markings:
TOSHIBA
TW107
94V-0
NLP28-8613-412

I have also noticed that the white line is actually 2 horixontal lines and they aren't white all the time. They get garbled with junk pixels sometimes and sometimes the lines are dark and so on.

I have also noticed that when connectiong through the external vga, this problem does not appear so the problem should be with the LCD hardware.

I hope someone is able to help me or at least tell me what i should look at.

Cheers
