Hewlet Packard P1110

Hi!
My 21" HP P1110 monitor is broken. Here goes horizonal lines on the screen, and this monitor has very high brightness, that is so 'cos i have to see something in my monitor.. please help.. Can i get this normal anymore? I think no.. But you tell me..

P1110 brightness problem

There is a lot of information at http://www.short-media.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19549 about this problem. They are talking about Dell P1110 but the monitors are probably very close. I just fixed several Dell P1110 monitors with the same problem. The fix is pretty easy, however, if the monitors are not exactly the same on the inside, you will need someone who can tell you which resistor to replace.

Sorry but the;

Dell P1110 is a Sony similar CPD-G500

HP P1110 is a nokia 445p

Totally different.

Maybe you could trace the G2 line from the CRT socket? Might find something?

I doubt Sony DAS will help. http://www.geocities.com/gregua/windas/ , maybe some one with a sony monitor might read this though.
