Hello Everyone, I hope you can help. My 6 year old Dell P991 (Trinitron) has just gone bad, and need some help fixing it, if it's worth it. When I power it on, the green light comes on for 4 seconds and there is 2 clicks, and it sounds like the crt is powering off and the power light turns to a blinking yellow one. I have the service manual, and really can't find much about it. If you have any ideas, feel free to e-mail: htsjack4e@sbcglobal.net I appreciate it.

I have taken the whole monitor apart, and messed a little with the HV Controller. I put it to Maximum Resistance and put it all back together. I turned it on, and the screen did come on, and was waiting for a signal. Then about 7-10 seconds later, it turned off, and went back to the old blinking amber light. I tried adjusting it a numerous amount of ways, and now I get nothing, just my original problem. Anyone help me out, I would much appreciate it.
