monitor KDS VS-190i

I have 19" KDS monitor:
Model: VS-190i
It was manufactured in Nov 2000.

Recently the monitor’s picture is (op.) barrel like shape (narrow in the middle wide in top and bottom). Vertical picture adjust works but horizontal doesn’t work.
I tried to adjust the picture but it didn't respond.

When I inspected the circuit board I noticed that Q424 (C3198) is damaged or blow up and diode D430 is damaged.

I changed it.
The picture was adjustable for a few minutes and was good quality. Then spark inside which I heard turned it back to the shape before. I changed those elements few times with the same result.
Can some one give a suggestion what could be wrong?

The electrical schematic is on the site:

Thank you
Eddie

Replace Q425 and then try.

Thank you for your response.
I already replaced Q425 and Q424, D430 was OK.
The result was the same.
I do believe that spark jumps between connections Q424 or D430 – there is very small space and there could be ~400V. Next time after solder I will paint the connections like other parts in that circuit and see what’s happen.
Thank you
Eddie

The voltage at that point should be low less than 100V.

Check that FBT is not arcing or the aqua dag is connected correctly.
