LCD Monitor, NO POWER

I found a Sony CPD-L150 (15" LCD monitor). When I plug the power cord in, the ac adaptor's green light lights up, but when I push the power button on the screen nothing happens. Could it be the ac adaptor or the actual monitor. Should I just junk it?? Thanks

It could be the cable from the adapter to the monitor but I would guess you have a fuse internal to the monitor that has failed.
