NEC LCD1810 pink bias

Have this monitor in a large touchscreen kiosk (abuzz). After it was moved to our new site, the monitor displays a pink bias. All of the red rows seem to be slightly on, regardless of the input data (i.e. it is also on the OSD menu).

Is there any way to adjust the bias without stripping this thing down? (i.e. is there a "factory settings" page that I can get to?)

Or do I have to "service" it (which is probably too much effort, and I will just dispose of the kiosk).

Does this look more pink when first on and gets less pink after a couple of minutes. If so then it maybe a tired lamp they glow pink when cold then get progressively more white.

No, it isn't an overall colour cast (if it was, I could just change the colour temperature in the menus).

This seems to be a fault with the drivers for the red columns. They are always biased on.

Hi OK

I understand, the problem occured during the move so I think you have a poor contact in the panel or the driver PCB, the only other thing is at the old site was it left on 24/7 and now only for short periods.

If so you could have a poor cap on a rail I do not have the schematics for this model so I can not tell if the colours have seperate ic's.

Check also any in series caps at the video input.
