Viewsonic LCD goes blank

I have a Viewsonic VX715 LCD monitor that goes blank almost as soon as you power it on. If you hit the power button again, it will show you the screen image for a fraction of a second and then go blank. The power light stays on. I've tried it on another computer, tried both the analog and digital connections. It won't stay on. Can't even get the OSD to show up.
Any ideas? I had a TV years ago that did something like this and it turned out to be a bad relay on the power switch.

Thanks

I have the same problem on viewsonic VP150M model. The defective card I found is the inverter which powers up the backlight. First it blown the fuse even the fuse is replaced the problem still there. It does not look like is caused by the backlight. I will solve the problem til I get the schematic diagram. Unfortunely they use interal factory number. Hopefully someone would like to share thier knowledge. Thanks in advance.
