I came home from work today and noticed the power had gone out at some point. I turned on the computer and my 17" LCD monitor began turning on and off every few seconds. It turns on, I can see the image for around a second then it turns off for a couple of seconds and then back on again, over and over. I disconnected it from the computer, plugged it into a different outlet and still the same thing, of course without the image coming on. This tells me it is solely a problem with the monitor and not the video card. Is it a bad fuse inside the monitor? I had it plugged into a very nice power strip but you never know. Any suggestions?
