The problem was insufficient width and was rectified. But the problem after rectification is when we try to reduce the horizontal width from the front panel the picture reduces and breaks away. What can be the problem? Kindly help

Check the diodes in the horizontal deflection circuit and the capacitor connected to Emiter and Colecter of the Width regulating transistor. It's usualy 2,2 or 3,3uF 100V. (el. or non-el.)
