I don't remember when it failed, I havnt had to change any settings in the monitors OSD for some time, but as of now I can't get any OSD menu to appear. However, the middle two buttons <> adjust the brightness. I've looked around about OSD lockout, from what I can find on HP/Compaq's support site,

I'm to hold down the OSD key for ten seconds. I've held down every button possible for 10 secondds in every possible combination that I can think of to no avail!
Any suggestions that I could try?
