i have problem with e-yama LCD monitor 17", monitors works perfect for a 5 minute, than goes black, i still see windows behind, but inverter doesn't works?
Can anybody help me?
Are the problem lamps?Lamps just work or don't.They can't work for 4 minute and gone black?

Hi I am afraid these are cold cathode flourescent lamps and they can and do fail from 30 secs up to 10-15 minutes.

I have had them running from an external inverter powered from my bench psu and suddenly they will take twice as much current.

This is usually enough for the internal inverters to shut down due to a fault condition.
