COMPAQ 7500-Picture fades from top&bottom to center

COMPAQ 7500 - screen is black. After 5 minutes, dark picture appears on top and bottom. Center strip is black. Then the picture fades in from top and bottom sides to center. after some time, picture becomes Ok. Seems it is NOT heating problem. Something in video amplifier? Or blanking circuit? As the top and bottom fades in first, seems like it is concerned with vertical deflection.

But one more strange thing: The picture dissapears when Degaussing. When the degauss-relay turns off, the picture fades in again.

Any advise? thanks, Danyk
