My monitor is all white. The power-LED is working as usual but at the poweron-state the monitor goes all white. At this state I can't bring up the OSD or get any picture from my PC. The same white screen appears when I try to start the monitor with the PC cable unplugged. I've opened the back of the monitor and looked at the boards and everything seems fine. Any suggestions where to look closer?

After reading back and forth in this forum about the "white screen of death" I found the solution. I measured the fuse on the back of the LCD panel and it was dead (by the ribbon cable). I bridged the fuse and voila, the screen voke up back to life!. I gonna run the fuse bridged since I don't know where to get a new one, and the value of the screen isn't more than it can be burned.

Hi!
Safety before function ...
The service manuals out there doesn't say anything about the TFT "LG/PHILIPS LM170E01-A4" circuitboard. Any clue what to solder in the place where the surface-mounted fuse labeled "50" were? Is it 50mA?, it seems a bit small ...
