i need help - i can't locate the X-ray protection circuit.
Which pin of flyback is the protection output?

And is the same pin used to stabilisate the EHT (feedback) ?
(Will the EHT go sky high when i disconnect it ?)

Thanks

Xray circuit usually is part of the processor chip that most monitors use.If you look up the pinouts for a big ic located usually on the right side of monitor you will see one of the pins on that chip is xray.It will not go sky higher....haha,it's already high.

i have problem with x-ray shutdown. the EHT starts for a second and then monitor shuts down.

the electrolyte on 40V-output of IHVT rises to 48V and then ... shutdown.

what can cause all voltages out of IHVT to be 120% ?
