I have a Dell M782p monitor and the control menu keeps getting locked at random times for no apparent reason. I haven't tried to lock it before, and I've followed the instructions on the Dell website to unlock it, but it never unlocks when I hold down the button, it just seems to do it after a few days. Another thing about it that I don't think is supposed to be happening is that after the "Attention | control menu is locked" message appears, the menu comes up and disappears after a few seconds, and it goes back to the locked message. Holding the menu button down doesn't work, I've tried it a hundred times, so please don't tell me to do that.
