Hi,

Goodday! I am having a hard time with my old monitor right now. Everytime a signal is being applied, after a few seconds of displaying image, it suddenly turns into black with a blinking LED indicator. I tried to lower the resolution but to no avail. I am wondering what component is causing it to loose its display, since I had replaced a lot of parts ie. IC(IC801,IC804),transistors(Q310,Q602),FBT & video board.

I hope that there could be someone who can help me or even give an idea for this kind of trouble.

MOdel No:1455
FCC ID:JVP7234E

Many thanks & more power!

Best regards,

jayson

Hi,

It sounds like the signal output from your VGA adapter card is dropping out.. and the culprit could be either the Monitor or the VGA card.. If you can try the monitor with another PC and it responds OK. The fault will likely be with your VGA card.. You could try re-installing the driver software, just in case it has somehow become corrupted... it does happen.

Good luck
George

Hi George,

Thank you very much for your reply. I tried to use other CPU but the problem still persisted. How I wish it is only the VGA but I don't have it on my unit. Hope you have any idea as to what to replace? I'll be giving you feedback with regards to its status asap. Many thanks.
