I have a HP72 (d8904) with the following:
When it is powered on but not connected to the pc, the monitor reports the fact with a message "No Input Signal or Cable Unplugged".
when i plug the cable to the pc, the monitor enters in powersave mode.
First i thought it was simply the screen resolution defined too hi for the monitor, which is typical for this synthom. But the problem remains with the typical 640x480 or even the 80x40 text mode.
I believe the problem is simple. Power is fine, crt too (since it shows the "No Input Signal or Cable Unplugged").
Any Ideas?
