My E771 has developed a problem with pincushion. The picture jumps back and forth from normal to a very wide with pincushion at maximum (corners further away from center). Knocking on the sides of the monitor sometimes helps and brings the picture back to normal for a while. When in the bad mode none of the following adjustments work: Horizontal Size, Trapezoid, Pincushion. I think it has to be something simple, such as a leaked capacitor or a cold solder joint. Does anyone know where I should look? I want to give it a try before trashing the monitor...
