Hurricane Ike

That was an ugly storm. Came right through our city and basically ended what was the start of a good weekend. the city has actually recovered fairly well considering. I reside 30 miles inland and still receive 130MPH wind..which wasn't the bad part. I can do wind but I can't do without electricity because electricity powers my fan which helps me sleep at night. It's a Texas thing. So how do I adapt and overcome? I opened a window during the hurricane force winds, laid my pillows in front of it and slept like a baby. These are pearls I'm giving all you fan users out there, if you happen to lose power during a hurricane fear not. open a window grab some pillows and count sheep....
