i agree that Bunz needs to be given time to settle into the starter role, but how many opportunities does he get? a GAA of 4+ and a SV% of 85 after 6 games? I agree that it is early and our defence has been lacking but he needs to convince Willie that he is their man and he has not done much to plead his case so far. And with the o/a deadline coming up fast, i think his window of opportunity could be closing just as fast. I think they need to give the next couple starts to Dubyk to see where he is at and to figure the goaltending and 20yr old situation before they are forced to make a move simply to comply with league roster rules. I want to see the tigers have a lengthy playoff run this year, we definately have a team that has the potential to do it, we just need to play our cards right. JMO. GO TIGERS! |
