Well, it seems that war with Iraq is still a very real possibility. The more I heard about it the less I like the idea, as stated on a certain bumper sticker "Forget Saddam, where's Osama?". I've seen a TV advertisement for a game (playstation I think?) called desert storm or something, in which you do battle against "Iraq's regime" using "the best trained most feared forces in the world".

I've heard a lot of opinions on this both Republican and Democrat, it appears from my point of view (what I've seen and heard) that most of us do not want war with Iraq, despite the recent polls. Of course, I am fallible, so I may be wrong.

What do the rest of you think of this? What do you think our chances are of going to war with Iraq? Do you think it justified? How many of you honestly think that Iraq is currently a serious threat "A real and growing danger"? I believe I've made my own opinion very clear.

Sincerely,
David- who plans to continue protesting

Saddam is as cunning as they come. If he is smart he will go with all the UN resolutions (as it looks as he is doing) will push everything to the edge of not obeying but in the end will do what he needs to advert war. Why? Because Bush Jr LOSES if he can't go to war and Saddam wins again. He knows it and the international community is counting on it. Saddam will probably be the first leader to win a war by surrendering before it begins.

On the other hand Bush JR wants to go to war so bad he can spit. He needs to war for all his Oil buddies and the Military machine.

Oh and NO I don't think its justified.. but I figured you could probably read between the lines and figure it out

Could someone, anyone. please explain to me what the hell is going on?

More war retorhic and they haven't so much as found a gram of Nerve agent or Anthrax or a single Scud. Add to that, all the wondeful places the CIA and such are directing the inspectors are at times coming up with absolutely nothing, and other times the buildings are deserted. But not in a "Get everything and get out the inspectors are coming" kind of deserted, the kind of deserted that happens after a place was bombed 10 years ago and its falling in on itself. More often than not these are the kind of things they are finding, places and palaces so deserted that the cobwebs have cobwebs. Also Iraq has been cooperative, and yet we still load more troops there, and now I read in the Washington Post, the Democrats "have a month window to deal with Bushs' economic policy, before the war starts in Iraq". What the hell ?!?!?!?

It's already a given that if we go into War with Iraq we will walkinto a Bagdad that they themselves will self destruct, along with the oil wells, etc.. It won't be a war it will be the equal of Hitler marching into Poland.

Where the hell does he think he has any right too mass murder and start a war ? where is the threat ? The only threat I see is the one to Bushs Oil Company buddies, oh now come to think of it Nevermind I answered my own question.

The question is will the media stand up and point this all out, or be "Cowed" as Bush loves to say.
