That will only make the sentencing that much harsher on him.

His sentence will probably be execution, commuted to life in jail.

In viewing the proceedings concerning Mr. Hussein's fate, I am struck with the irony of how it is that a man who rules a country with intimidation, ("You are either for us or you are for the terrorists."), propaganda and messages of increasing homebrewed fear (manipulating terror threat levels), can point his finger at a man who ruled another country and charge him of those same crimes. Perhaps it is so that Mr. Hussein is guilty of such things but why is it that Mr. Bush would not be called to account for his crimes against the American people in like manner?
