The anti-Bush media template didn't end with his landslide victory over Kerry in the 2004 presidential election last November. Today there's a CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll out that shows a majority of Americans (57 percent) do not believe it was worth going to war in Iraq. See a pattern here in the coverage of all things related to the Bush administration? The mainstream media still has a few prime directives these days, including (but not limited to):
The War in Iraq. All bad news must be brought front and center and must be the top story. If somebody in Baghdad stubs their toe, it must be breaking news. Anything bad is George Bush's fault. All good news must be buried. Anything positive reported happening in Iraq must be followed by the phrase "but questions remain."
The economy. No matter how robust the economy is, all good news must be suppressed. Stories about the trade deficit, number of uninsured in this country, budget deficit and unemployment must be played up. Any good news, or any previously bad news that has been revised to be good will be hidden away on the back page. Oh, and minorities are always hardest hit.
Presidential appointments. Everyone George Bush appoints to anything is to be demonized and portrayed as a radical. Doesn't matter if we're talking about judges or ambassadors. The John Bolton hearings will look like a bike ride compared to the coming storm over Supreme Court nominees. Words and phrases like "radical right, far-right, right-wing and extremist" are to be used as much as possible. To the media, there is no such thing as a left-wing extremist.

I'm so sick of them running around and printing their stupid printable garbage that they print everywhere. "Bush did this, Bush did that, wah wah wah". Get over it, he won the election! What are you gonna do? Sit there and cry like a stupid little whiney girl that cries all the time cause she's a cry-baby? Well Boo-digedity-Hoo!
P.S. Wowsers-trowsers!!1! has Barbra Bush lost weight lately? Girlfriend's lookin' gooooooooood!!

Maybe it's because Bush warrants all the negative publicity he's getting. I thought the US was a Democracy where those in power are held accountable for their actions. These polls aren't made up, they reflect the discontent among American people at a ballooning deficit, a protracted war that has cost many human lives and countless billions in Tax payers money. Just because you voted for someone doesn't mean that you have to agree with that person all the time. The GOP hoodwinked the US into thinking that we are all going to be screwed by an ailing lunatic fundaMenatalist Rich Kid with kidney troubles unless we voted for their man. Ultimately the President is responsible for this country and if people feel he is not doing a good job then they're entitled to voice that opinion.

If you must know I wasn't hood winked. I don't care for GWB, but I really didn't like Kerry or his running mate.
1. As a naval officer he claimed to see all sorts of misdeeds like rape torture, and murder. Why then did he not report it until he was out of the service a few years? The first thing you learn when joining the service is you can not be compelled to follow an unlawful order and the you ARE compelled to report a violation you have witnessed..... I don't know if he earned his awards or not but I give him the benifit of the doubt. I wasn't there he was.
2. His running mate is a Litigation Lawyer who made millions on his lawsuits using very questionable science. I detest that but further more he paid the minimum in taxes on it. Then he wants to turn around and tax everyone else. Sounds alot like the Kennedy's.
We wont go into Kerry's voting record that spoke for its self.
And finally I really don't care if the French, Germans, or Russians like us. We all found out why they really were against the bwar on terror.
Russia: Most if not all the weapons used by the terrorists are of Russian and or chinese manufacture. Iran, Lybia, Syria etc. All use Russian and french made weapons. Russia France and Germany made a killing on the oil for food programs. No surprise they didn't want a good thing to end.
