While on a trip to thailand with my wife last summer I had an opprotunity to observe my fellow americans on vacation. It was at times embarassing. The example I give is as follows. Whil on a flight to phuket some college students were acting out. The language was more than a little offensive. I'm a former sailor and so I have heard it all. That said I don't need my wife to endure it. But looking around the plane I saw asians shaking thier heads.
My wife who is thai made the remark do they only know the F word?

later in the trip while in a resturant average meal cost about 5 bucks. I witnessed a couple shouting at the waiter because of poor service. Hmmm at 5 bucks counting the tip whats up with that. besides the service really wasn't bad. I wonder what this does for america's image over seas?
