During the past decade or so, when the homosexual agenda started to infiltrate our laws on a more consistent basis, the republicans were united in their opposition to gay marriage. The country's view on gay marriage coincided with the republican party's moral fight. And so, there was no problem with the republican party being the primary opposition to gay marriage.

Time have changed, however. See this link: http://people-press.org/reports/display.php3?ReportID=273

As most can see from the link I provided, support for gay marriage is increasing across the country, along with other issues related to the homosexual agenda. Before the 2004 primaries, support for gay marriage was rising sharply, while opposition was no the decrease. Now that the elections are over, and with the current tragic scandals that are befalling the republican party, support for gay marriage is on a steady increase, and at its greatest hight ever recorded in a poll, while opposition is at it's greatest low ever.

Not only is opposition towards gay marriage decreasing, but the republicans, the party that took the primary role in attempting to stop the homosexual agenda is starting to lose opposition to gay marriage.

The question is, will this affect the 2008 presidential elections? If the republicans decide to once again use homosexual agendas as an issue to gain support from, will it backfire?

Will the conservatives suffer as a result when the majority of the public support gay marriage?

I am worried that the answer is yes. What are you thoughts?
