First it was setting a withdrawal date from Iraq, otherwise known as a surrender date. Now Sen. Reid wants to cut off funding while our brave soldiers are in the field sacrificing much to defend America and its citizens.
The withdrawal date and cutting off funding are cowardly, un-American actions and only hurt the morale of our soldiers and embolden the terrorists.
The democrats seem to want America to lose.

As opposed to the Republicans, who abandon the troops when they come home wounded? FYI: The whole left/right paradigm is phony! All politicians serve the same masters-- the international bankers! Wake up and smell the fascism!!
I am a former straight-ticket Republican turned Independent as of Nov. 7, 2006.

The repubs have abandoned no soldiers at home. The Walter Reed scandal was an administrative goof up by the Army which was quickly corrected when it came to light. The repubs did not "choose" to do it. The dems have chosen their course of conduct.
The reason the building got in poor condition is because they are planning to close it soon. If millions had been spent to fix it up prior to the recent scandal, then there would have been complaints about wasting money.

These arguments about whether the Democrats are better or the Republicans are better are useless, Dimocrats and Repugs just take slightly different approaches to bankrupting America.

both parties stink

I am not arguing who is best. It is obvious that on this issue and on most issues the dems are clearly inferior. Of course if the stupid repubs had not spent money like drunken liberals when they had the Congress, then we would not be discussing the dems' abandonment of our soldiers. The repub failure to close the borders to illegal aliens is another, liberal-like, error, not to mention Bush's errant desire to grant amnesty to the 12 to 20 million illegal aliens already here.
Both parties stink, but the dems stink the worst.

Not to mention the "Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (a.k.a. North American Union) plan to merge Canada, Mexico, and the United States. This SPP plan was implemented by your REPUBLICAN President George W. Bush-- WITHOUT THE ADVICE AND CONSENT OF CONGRESS!!! Don't look now, but the Dim-ocrats and the Repukes are running neck-and-neck for the title of worst political party EVER in the history of the United States!!!
The Libertarian Party is the better politcal party! The only Repuke worth a damn is Ron Paul!!!

The libertarians have no chance at being in power nationally. I think it is best for conservatives to try to reform the repubs rather than build up the libertarians almost from scratch. As it stands now the repubs are just pro military, pro tax cut dems. On spending and social issues, both parties are about the same.

Abandoning the soldiers that return wounded does not fit my definition of "pro military."
You decide for yourself:
Dim-ocrat Vote= Vote For Global Government
Repuke Vote= Vote For Global Government
Libertarian/Independent Vote= Vote For Freedom

There have been no American soldiers abandoned by the repubs. The recent problems were due to administrative errors, not due to an intentional plan.
If the libertarians ever got to the level of power of the other parties, they would probably stoop to the same conduct as the dems and repubs. It is easy to be virtuous when no one is throwing fortune and fame at your feet.
