Autolite 1100 vs. 1101

Bill, as I understand things, the 1969 1bll carb for the 250 engine was the 1101 that was slightly larger in cfm flow. Would this carb make a good replacement for a 1100 on a '66 200? Objective being slightly better performance.

I know about the SCV on my '66 1100 and I plan to swap to a '68 or later distributor (with Pertronics points replacement module) or perhaps a DuraSparkII so the SCV won't be a factor.

Another question:

I read about the venturis being refered to as "phenolic inserts". Does this mean they are removeable? Replaceable?
