So, as long as I'm working on the carb, perhaps I'd be doing myself a favor by replacing the 1100 with the Carter RBS? As you stated, they began using them in 1970. For how many years? Only on the 250? What did Ford use on the 240/300? Anything there that might work better than the old 1100 or the RBS?
What I'm trying to do is get the car to run better, idle better and perhaps improve the performance a little. I know it won't be much but as long as I'm doing something with the carb, I'd like to get the best I can.
How about 1bll Rochesters? Any experience with them?
