Hi ED & Bill its me again i rebuilt this 4100 carb c2aj-af for a 62 galaxie with a completly rebuilt 390 with FPA tri-y headers. Its a 9.5 to 1 forged pistons & a mild crane rv cam PN#901.The idle mixture srews have no effect and the are no external air leaks( i sporayed the base of carb w/ starter fluid).Bill said there may be internal air leaks???Where should i check?Could this be due to a core that is 45 yrs old?I did change the jets to 60 primary & 64 secondary due to the bigger performing 390 (I HOPE!).Mr jenkins said stock jets are 56& 58 if i remember.I HATE HOLLEYS! I would love to get this running right.I did purchase this core from Mr Ed Jenkins. What should i check next. Thanks Mike
