hi have a 1965 mercury cyclone 289 engine 4sp trans. would like to put some spunk into the 289 via holman mooody dual plane hi rise intake custon ground hyd roller cam and cnc ported 289 cyl heads. i am thinking 1.08 480 cfm carb may be to small and would like to step up to a 1.12 carb am i on the right track ? i do not want to use a holley or carter carb have my heart set on autolite 4100 whats your thoughts ?
