and the Carburetor Repair Kit they had ordered and said I needed was a HYGRADE P6P 433B. When I looked at the pieces, it looked more like a kit for a 4300! It didn't say Motorcraft and it didn't have CT191 on it anywhere. So, I told them to just hang on to it a few days while I check this out.
They said CT191 wasn't a Motorcraft carb rebuild kit, but they cross-referenced it to get the kit I needed. Hmmmmmmm! That just don't add up, cause I know you know what you are talking about.
But this is a small town Ford place, so I'll go back tomorrow with my little C4AF R tag and any advice ya'll can throw my way and see if they can cross reference that to something that sounds more promising. It may help to tell them it's off a '64 Fairlane with a 352, huh?
If that fails, I may have to try a BIG Ford place in Houston.
