Ok, so I have long been tinkering with this carb as well as manny others for half of my life! I love the 4100 & have done some successful & some unsuccessful trials.
My question is this: What is the specific air bleed difference on a 1.12 for a 289 factory hi-po vs the run of the mill fe-1.12? I agree completely with the info you have provided, as my seat of the pants tests have all revealed the same bogs, sags rich then lean then rich scinerios, so compliments to the chef!!

Obviously, I am attempting to see if I can wrap my head around the engineering that was done differently on the hi-po carb. I realize the engine was more efficient, & am hoping to duplicate this in some fashon.
Thanks,
