Found this thread while trying to find info re the bellcrank adjustment on a Autolite 4100 C5AF-H that I am rebuilding.
John - I don't mean to highjack your thread, but have the same question(s) as you (plus another).
JC - Read your "article" re your 4100 rebuild - FANTASTIC!!!
Question: What does the "Fast Idle Cam Over-travel Lever Adjust Screw" adjust against? I appear to be missing a part on my choke shaft since there is nothing to "lock" the FICO-TL to the shaft. The protrudding end of the screw just sits out in free space. Even if there was someting for it to adjust against, the lever is not locked to the shaft. BTW the FICO-TL is a new white plastic one that came in the rebuild kit and is EXACTLY like the old one, which is EXACTLY like the one that JC repaired with GG in his overhaul posts.
JC - Would you PLEASE post a picture of the interrelationhip of the bellcrank/FICO-TL/Adjusting screw/etc.? I (1) need to figure out if I am missing a part and (2)figure out how to adjust the choke pull-down.
thanx in advance for your help.
