Could be right if early 64 car

Our 64 Gal is an October 1963 car and came with a C3AF-BV carb (and C1AE-A heads and a C3 intake too), obviously a 1963 390-4v engine.

So if your Bird is an early 64 you might have the right carb especially if the heads/intake are also C1 or C3 numbers.

I'd try to see if the jetting was about the same so you dont run that big 390 too lean [or too rich].

Other than that, I would leave it on there if it runs good and behaves well.
