Hi, I recently had the same problem and Bill White of this Forum Told me about a product from KANO LABS called KROIL. Up until then I was sold on PB Blaster and still use it with good results! However, it is simply not in the same class as KROIL which is a bit more expensive than the more readily available penetrants. You can get it from Eastwood or order direct from their Web Site. Regardless of which penetrant you use I do think that the judicious use of heat is absolutley vital! Just take you time and be very gentle.Remember everythig is 43+ years old. If you break one of the needles off you just about wind up with a parts carb since those Big Block "A" carbs are pretty common and inexpensive.
Just remember to go easy and show the old girl the respect that she deserves for having been around for so long!!
