That carb should be 1.12 venturi, why is was labled as 1.8 is anyones guess.
As far as pricing, most E-bay 1.12 4100's are realistically going for around 50 to 100.00 on E-bay. a lot depends upon condition and the actual part numbers, mustang carbs (Zcoded and unique applications (fairlanes or 428) might bring in more and same with concourse restorations or provency of good rebuilds (PONY's carbs with papers).
Of course if you happen to hook up with one or two car owners who are looking for that exact carb for their restoration then all bets are off since often common sense and actual value sometimes don't matter at all on E-bay.
As most of you know I routinely sell restored engine parts on E-bay and I have both been pleasantly awed and extrememly dissapointed on what my parts have gone for. I have sold restored 289 mustang timing covers for over 100.00 and for 5.00 within weeks of each other. I have found and observed that carbs and parts with a reserve DO NOT GET SOLD NOR DO THEY GET BID ON, which really puts the seller at the mercy of the bidders to determine the true value for that week. After all the TRUE VALUE for that week, of a part with no reserve, is only what someone is willing to buy it for.
I still buy 4100's for 20.00 to 30.00 and have no problems buying them for that price, and from my observations most rebuilders are still buying them for that price via swap meets, junkyards, garage sales or core pricing. It has been a while since I have bought one for that price on E-bay but every so often I still do so they are out there. I just bought over 125+ misc. carburetors from someone who had been hoarding them for a long while and paid 200.00 for them all, including a dozen 4100's and another two dozen 2100's (along with holleys, quadrajets and around 50 or so pre 1960 carburetors including at least a dozen stromberg aero type and 98 and 97's from the 40's) so deals are out there still.
If you have a set price or need to get a certain amount for your carb perhaps E-bay is not the forum, a local swap meet or craigs list often get better results as far a a certain set price but you miss out on the amount of people who get to look at it and the chance of really selling it for more money.
Good Luck,
