Re: 4100 secondarys not closing

I'm also experiencing this same issue on two different 4100s. One is a C6AF-L, the other a C5AF-F.

When the secondaries open, they do not close completely until the engine is shut off or they are manually forced shut. The plastic pin is intact. The secondaries shut just fine without the engine running. It almost seems as if engine vacuum is still holding them open at idle.

Since I've seen this same condition on two different carbs, it's very puzzling as to the cause.

My application is a '65 Galaxie with a 390.
