Remember everything in an engine has to work in conjunction and DOES work in conjunction ewither for the good (with a well laid plan) or for the bad (when someone doesn't have a clue and more money than brains).
We all love to hear the sound of a NASCAR engine at 8000. but for the street in a regular car this is not only insane but stupid, plus a total waste of time, money and machinery.
Drive your car, look at the rpm gauge where do you spend most of your RPMS and at what speed, 5 will get you 10 its at 1500 to 2500 and 25 to 45 mph.
Plan for that type of build and not only will you save some serious money but your engine will last 200,000 more miles and you will get the economy and the performance you will need.
If people would build for durability rather than performance everybody would be happier.
