I have a 4100 on an offenhouser sitting on my 1980 302 in my 1954 Ford mainline. I had it rebuilt by a man on Georgia. I now live in Fayetteville Nc. I am in the Army that is why the move. The car idles ok but a little rough. The problem is that when I am at a crusing speed the car surges. I looked down the carb and there is fuel dripping in the secondaries. I removed the top of the carg and the secondary float is below the fuel level, and the primary and secondary fuel level is drastically different. I removed the secondary float and bent the back down but no change in the fuel level. Both floats are new and under acceleration there is no real problem. How can I make another adjustment to fix the abundance of fuel in the secondary float bowl and stop the fues from dripping in the secondary venturi.
