Response to Are you sure....

Thank you for the reply Boomyal

I am new with these 4100 carbs but if I understand where to measure the venturi diameter at corectly, I.E. at the point which is most narrow where the throat of each throttle bore is at it's most narrow point right at about where the booster ends, I measure (eyeball) @1.08 on the primaries and @1.18 on the secondaries.

As far as which OEM 4100 carb venturi size I am refering to, I am only reporting what I see as cast into the drivers side bottom fuel bowl where it is typically cast on these carbs. My carb has 1.08 cast into it.

I may be incorrectly measuring my venturi diameters possibly? If I am measuring my venturi bores correctly, I am certain mine are not 1.00" on the primary. When I take this carb apart and take the top cover off and take out both boosters, I can easily see a difference in diameter between the primary and secondary venturis. It does look spreadbore but internally as you have quoted Boomyal.

Did pony carbs put out spread bore carbs with 1.08 castings or did they only put out spread bores with 1.12 castings? Or is what I have normal from the factory in regards to venturi bore? OR am I measuring my venturi diameter incorrectly? Thank you all
