I am also new to the 4100 and just now picking up bits and pieces. I've not had a 4100, of any flavor, in my hands yet. Just looking to understand the genre and replace the 2100 on my 65 Mustang.
I'm sure the resident expert will make an appearance before to long.
btw, what are the numbers cast into the side of the base flange? That might help tell a story as well. Does Pony leave any kind of marks or tags on carbs they rebuild? If so, you should call them.
