I talked to a relative and he said that there is most likely air leaking in through a loose or broken gasket. That way there is more air than needed, so choking out some of the natural air flow makes it run. I took a vacuum hose and used it as a listening device to hunt down any leaks. I couldn't find any. It seems to be sealed up pretty good. Any other advise?
